Our Rules

Our Routines

Morning

1. We come in at 8:15am, unpack our belongings, put our h.w. on our desk,

    and begin our independent morning work.

2. At 8:30, we stand to say the Pledge of Allegiance with our school.

3. We correct our homework and begin our day of learning!

Lunch

1. At 12:15, we get the things we need for lunch, such as lunch, lunch money,

   and jackets and wait for our table to be called to line up.

2. When all the tables are called, we walk quietly and respectfully in the hallway

    to the cafeteria where we enjoy our lunch and recess time!

Afternoon

1. At 1:10, we come back from lunch and copy our homework in our assignment

   pad.  Ms. Donoghue writes it on our homework board and explains each

   assignment.  If there are any questions about an assignment, Ms. Donoghue

   answers them and then we continue on with our day!

2. At 2:40, we participate in "The Silent Pack Up Challenge!"  Ms. Donoghue,

    first tells us which books we will need to take home that night for

    homework.  Then, we have a "silent cheer" for our pack-up challenge.

    Everyone stacks their chair, picks up their mail, and puts their belongings in

    their school bag.  When we are all done, we wait to see if we have reached

    the next day in "The Silent Pack Up Challenge."  If we advance to the next

    day, Ms. Donoghue tells us and we cheer because we are so excited to be

    closer to our goal of reaching day ten!

3. Then, we listen for our line to be called for dismissal.

4. At 2:50, the bell rings and we walk quietly to the side doors for dismissal!

Our school day is over, but we are ready for the next day ahead!!!
